Georgian Architects/Draftsman's DeskSOLD

This a a very rare 18th century draftsmans or architects desk, would have been specialy made to order and very costly.

Has a fold up lectern which has four height settings, or will fold away flat, a number of oak linned drawers left top has a number of divisions, there is a door in the kneehole, that currently has a shelf half way, there were origonaly a number of vertical  dividers.

This piece has been well used through the years and has had sevaral restorations, and we have invested more than fifty hours to bring it back to it's former glory, including rebuilding the top and replacing the leather linning, it now shines and reveals a lovely charming pattina, would grace any home, and in rarity terms is only likely to apreciate.

size : 122cm x 63cm x 83cm high, kneehole height is 65cm.
