Skating on the Amstel in 1762
€ 175,00
Very rare aqua-tinted etching, probably by Jan de Beijer, published by print house Paul van Liender in 1762. Skating on the Amstel canal, revealing insight to winter life in Amsterdam in the 18th century, not the tent probably serving warm soup to passers by. Comes with a stunning curl mahogany frame in remarkable good condition for its age.
Size: 48cm x 41cm.
