Steamer TrunkSOLD
This is a 19th century Steamer trunk, it has a brass label marked HAPAG which stands for Hamburg Amerikanische Packetfahrt Actien Gesellschaft, it is case that only the most wealthy would be able to afford, has also the initialls of the owner F. B.
It is a wooden case with painted canvas an leather bindings on the outside, and creme cotton fabric linning, top hat drawer, and a number of smaller drawers with lovely heavy brass handles.
These are becoming very fashionable as clothes storage in the bedrooms of modern apartments.
