Good quality solid oak 18th century bureau from the North of England, with mahogany crossbanding on drawers and fall, very nice interior with twelve small drawers, two of which secret .
The drawers have a nice old set of filigri handles and are lined with oak planks consistant with good early Georgian furniture, altogeter a very appealing and honest piece of English history.
