Naval Frigates at battleSOLD
This is quite a remarkbale painting of frigates in the Southern ocean at battle, beleived to be copied from a famous work, it is 40 yrs old and the artist is unknown but, the signature is present but not legible.
It is a very competent work, the story I was told was that it was made at her Majestys conveiniance, that is in prison in the UK, maybe a well known specialist in faking works of art?
