This is a really quite stunning single door bookcase or Niche cabinet, from the George III period of around 1780, very rare, in remarkable origonal condition, lovely wax pattina, it is quite dark but a very rich deep colour as is often the case with the earlier perion pieces.
has a base with single panneled door, concealing two adjustable shelves, top carcase has three adjustable shelves behind a gothic barred doors with origonal glass, unit is in two pieces.
