Charming but unusual chest early 19th century, with a simple elegance you would more associate with the Deco period but is a century earlier.
It has a large amount of boxwood linning decoration on the drawers round the feet and top, lovely Spanish curl timber on the top and drawers, the top and drawer fronts have been completely re-polished, new drawer runners have also been fitted.
The drawer handles are of extremely high quality cast brass with gold gilt plating.
