This is a charming figured walnut peer cabinet with lovely inlays gilt ormalu decoration, and green silk linned interior, completely original apart from the renewed linning, dates back to 1850, these were made as a copy of similar very expensive French pieces, in the day it was fashonable to lust after things French, and it still a popular style now.
