18th century Drop leaf tableSOLD
This is a rare 18th century drop leaf table in red walnut, often confused with mahogany, but darker and very heavy, this was used only in the 18th century and pre-dates most of the mahogany furniture, which was easier and cheaper to import and a lot more plentiful.
In good usable condition with minor restoration work carried out, original wax patina.
